Pool cage repair in New Smyrna Beach can preserve an existing enclosure or become a redesign of the outdoor space. I Do That! Screen Repair handles panels, hardware and minor aluminum work; Southern Construction also offers engineered new cages and screened porches. State whether the job is a repair, a change to the frame or a different enclosure layout before comparing proposals.
For properties subject to historic-preservation review, the city's published provisions discuss screening open porches without obscuring their defining elements. That guidance concerns qualifying historic features, not every backyard pool cage. If the project involves an older porch or a designated structure, ask the city which requirements apply before changing columns, railings or the visible enclosure design.
I Do That! describes full rescreens with new mesh and spline, door hardware, support cables and pressure cleaning, plus several specialty screen options. Ask which of those items your estimate includes and identify any aluminum damage beyond the minor repair scope.
Southern Construction can discuss engineered replacement cages and wider-panel designs. A redesign should be compared as a different project from replacing existing mesh. Request drawings for proposed layout changes and specify the treatment of the existing deck, attached roof and access around the pool.
